Ronit shared her personal journey of growing up in Israel with Iraqi parents, facing discrimination due to her Mizrahi identity and Arabic heritage. She described her rebellious stance against collective identities and her eventual realization of the injustices faced by Palestinians and Lebanese during the 1982 Lebanon War. Ronit became involved in peace movements but later criticized them for whitewashing issues, eventually joining the Progressive Party for Peace, which was later outlawed. She currently leads a group of anti-Zionist activists in Israel, emphasizing that decolonization is an ongoing process and not about self-definition but rather a political position against Zionism.
