Hebrew University Law school dean Barak Medina, will speak  at the IPC simulation on June 23, 2024


Professor Barak Medina holds the Landecker-Ferencz chair in the study of Protection of Minorities and Vulnerable Groups at the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He served as Rector (Provost) of the Hebrew University (2017-2022) and Dean of the Faculty of Law (2009-2012). He studies Israeli and comparative constitutional law and human rights law. Among his recent publications, “The Conflict over Israel’s National Identity,” and “The Constitutional Identity of the State of Israel.”

Prof. Medina is a Board member of the Israel Association for Civil Rights, and the Academic Director of the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University. Professor Medina graduated Harvard law school and obtained his doctorate degree in Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served as a Visiting Professor at the Law Schools of Columbia University in New-York and University of California Berkeley.

The simulation will take place on Sunday, June 23th, 2024.
