All the participants who voted supported the establishment of a unified government for both Israelis and Palestinians. The parliament approved a constitution and agreed to grant a veto power to the current Israeli and Palestinian governments over legislation that would impact their sovereignty. They also agreed to provide compensation to the original Palestinian refugees and to dismantle the physical barrier separating Israel and Palestine.
